During group on July 20, 2011, participating members were asked to choose their favorite attribute of God i.e. “God is love” and write it down on a page in their provided individual binder. The attributes were not shared with one another.
Members were then asked to write 500 words on why that attribute was their favorite. Members were encouraged to use scripture and personal stories or anecdotes to support their selection.
The ’streaming’ exercise was intended to have members focus on their particular God attribute and then ‘stream’ their thoughts on paper with pen or pencil. The exercise was not intended to produce polished writing, but rather, first thoughts that enter the mind kind of thing.
Due to time constraints, it was not practical for anyone to reach 500 words.
What was interesting was out of the seven members participating, six chose attributes related to ‘forgiveness’.

Thank you! I am unsure if I was there for that meeting but if I didn’t put then what I have written here over the last few months is that, We forgive because we want to be forgived and/or forgiven. If one says “I am never in error”, and thinks there wouldn’t be a need for such forgivingness, then one is a liar….and that it is totally unacceptable in my book.
God is Truth.
Frankly I think that’s absolutely good stuff.
